Terms of service for RedirectGuard, a Shopify app published by effective Inc. (株式会社effective).
These Terms govern your use of RedirectGuard, a Shopify app published by effective Inc. (株式会社effective) ("we", "us", "the app"). By installing or using RedirectGuard, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
RedirectGuard helps Shopify merchants detect 404 / broken pages on their storefront and create URL redirects. The functionality is described in its Shopify App Store listing and within the app. Plans and pricing are listed in Section 2.
2. Plans & billing
- Billing is handled by Shopify's Billing API and charged through your Shopify invoice. Paid charges are recurring monthly until cancelled.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time by uninstalling the app or downgrading in the app. Shopify's refund and proration policies apply.

No free trial.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to create content (such as redirects) that misleads users or violates Shopify's policies or applicable law.
4. Data
Your use of RedirectGuard is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the store data the app accesses.
5. Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but provide the app "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost revenue, traffic, or SEO ranking arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for RedirectGuard in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
8. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the agreed court of first instance over any dispute arising from these Terms.
